Privacy Policy

Last updated October 19, 2026

This policy explains what information Easy BPS collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Easy BPS is a service of Mojo United, LLC, doing business as Pilotlight ("Easy BPS," "we," or "us"). It covers this website, www.easybps.com, and the Washington Clean Buildings Tier 2 compliance service we offer through it.

The short version: you can read this site and use the building checker without giving us anything. We only receive personal information when you choose to book a call, email us, or hire us.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you book a call, email us, or become a customer, you may share your name, email address, phone number, company, and details about your buildings, such as addresses, floor area, primary use, and utility accounts.
  • Building and energy data. To file on your behalf, we work with your building’s energy use data, equipment lists, and the documents Commerce requires. Most of this describes the building rather than a person, but it can include names and contact details for owners, managers, and staff.
  • Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. These logs keep the site secure and working.

The building checker runs entirely in your browser. The floor area and primary use you enter are never sent to us. We use Google Ads tags and cookies to measure how our advertising performs, as described in “Advertising and measurement” below.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and schedule calls.
  • To prepare and submit compliance filings and incentive applications for customers.
  • To keep customers informed about their filing, upcoming deadlines, and the incentive.
  • To operate, secure, and improve this site and our service.
  • To measure and improve the effectiveness of our advertising.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with Google to measure our advertising, as described below.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to provide the service you ask for, or as described here:

  • The Washington State Department of Commerce, through the Clean Buildings Portal, as part of the filings you hire us to make.
  • Your utility, when we need to request energy data or when it processes your incentive.
  • ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s free benchmarking tool, where your building’s energy data is entered and shared with Commerce.
  • Service providers who help us run the business, such as scheduling (Calendly), email, file storage, and website hosting. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Google, for advertising measurement, as described in “Advertising and measurement.”
  • Others when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise using Google Ads. When you visit this site, Google may set cookies or use similar technologies to tell us whether you arrived from one of our ads and whether you later took an action, such as booking a call. This helps us understand which ads are useful and avoid spending on ones that aren’t.

Enhanced conversions. When you book a call or contact us, we may share your email address, phone number, or name with Google in hashed (one-way encrypted) form. Google uses this only to match the action to an ad interaction and report it back to us in aggregate. Google processes this data under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms (https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/).

Scheduling. Bookings are handled by Calendly. If you arrive from one of our ads, Calendly may report a completed booking to Google Ads so we can count it as a conversion.

Your choices. You can control ad personalization at Google’s My Ad Center (https://myadcenter.google.com), learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at Google’s Privacy & Terms (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites), and block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies won’t affect your ability to use this site or the building checker.

Other websites

This site links to sites we do not control, including Commerce, ENERGY STAR, and Calendly. Booking a call takes you to Calendly, which collects the details you enter under its own privacy policy. Each of those sites is governed by its own policies, not this one.

How long we keep it

We keep contact information for as long as we are in touch with you. We keep customer records for as long as we need them to provide the service, to support the five-year Tier 2 reporting cycle, and to meet legal and tax obligations. Server logs are kept only briefly.

How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as encrypted connections and limited access to customer records. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also stop non-essential emails at any time, and opt out of ad measurement as described in “Advertising and measurement”. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time; we may need to confirm your identity first.

Some records we must keep, such as copies of filings made on your behalf. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.

Children

This site and our service are meant for building owners and their representatives. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will take reasonable steps to let customers know.
